Kia?s RWD Frankfurt Concept May Be Called the Veredus

Kia’s yet-unnamed rear-wheel-drive concept, pictured below and set to debut at the 2011 Frankfurt auto show, may be called the Veredus. Earlier this month, the company filed a trademark application for the moniker, and the sports-sedan concept is the only vehicle in the company’s short-term plans in need of a name. Looking forward, there are [...]

Name That Shifter, No. 39: Carbodies FX4 Fairway

On Monday, we presented this week?s shifter and asked you to identify the make and model of the vehicle from whence it came. IndyCar suspends safety truck driver

IndyCar has suspended a safety truck driver for two races after a near-miss at the start of last weekend's race in Baltimore. The truck was driving towards an escape road on the exit of Turn 1, against the flow of traffic, as the race got underway, and only just got off the track before outside front row starter Graham Rahal came through. According to the Indianapolis Star , the truck's crew had been attending to a tyre barrier at Turn 5 that had been found during the parade laps to be out of alignment, but the driver tried to make it back to Turn 1 rather than parking further along the track.

Paddon chasing top-ten finish in Oz

New Zealander Hayden Paddon says he won't be distracted by his Production Car World Rally Championship aspirations on this week's Rally Australia - the Subaru driver is chasing a top-10 finish overall. Paddon has dominated this year's PWRC, winning the three events he's competed on to date, and another victory here would be enough to clinch him the championship.
